Classes

PdfArray

A PDF array. Typed getters resolve indirect references.

PdfBoolean

A PDF boolean (true/false).

PdfDictionary

A PDF dictionary. The indexer returns the raw (possibly indirect) value; the typed getters (GetDictionary(PdfName), GetInt(PdfName, int), ...) resolve references transparently. Assigning null through the indexer removes the key.

PdfName

A PDF name object (e.g. /Type). Instances are interned, so reference comparison is valid, but Equals(object?) also compares by value. The value excludes the leading slash.

PdfNull

The PDF null object.

PdfNumber

A PDF numeric object; either an integer or a real number.

PdfObject

Base class of all PDF objects. Objects are mutable; containers (arrays, dictionaries, streams) may hold direct objects or PdfReferences to indirect objects.

PdfReference

An indirect reference (12 0 R) to an object owned by a document.

PdfStream

A PDF stream: a dictionary plus a byte sequence. RawBytes holds the encoded data as stored in the file (after decryption); GetBytes() applies the decoding filters. Streams must be indirect objects; the writer allocates an object number for direct streams.

PdfString

A PDF string. Internally a byte sequence; Text interprets it as a text string (PDFDocEncoding, UTF-16BE or UTF-8 with byte order mark).
